The PNP and the Royal Malaysian Police (RMP) has been strengthening its ties to solve the increasing number of Filipinos being trafficked in Malaysia as well as making it as a transit in migrating undocumented Filipino workers to other countries.
The Women and Children Protection Center (WCPC) joined other members of the Inter-Agency Council Against Trafficking (IACAT) in commemorating the World Day Against Trafficking (WDAT) held at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) on July 29, 2016.
The AVAWCD continuously conducts information drives in public areas, including schools and barangay halls, in order to increase awareness of VAWC and other forms of abuse and exploitation of women and children.
